Annetta Ramsay, Ph.D., LPC-S, NCC is a Ph.D. trained Licensed Professional Counselor supervisor in Texas and a National Certified Counselor who speaks and teaches on topics related to eating disorders. She has a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of North Texas and bachelor’s degrees from Southern Methodist University. She founded and directs the Chrysalis Program. For 30 years Dr. Ramsay has specialized in treating eating disorders for women and men ages 14 and up. She works to create a safe environment for clients.

Laura Pace, M.Ed., LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a doctoral candidate in Counselor Education from the University of North Texas. Her bachelor’s degree is from Texas A & M University. Laura specializes in group therapy. She did her master’s practicum with Chrysalis and she is rejoining our team after completing her doctoral studies. Laura is known for her intelligence and for her sense of fun.
Johnna Kudlac, MS, RD, LD is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian. She received her BS in Nutrition from Texas Tech University and her MS in Exercise and Sports Nutrition from Texas Woman’s University. Using a team approach, Johnna has treated eating disorders since 1997. She strives to educate clients using a practical approach to basic physiological and nutritional needs of the body. Involved with Chrysalis since its inception, Johnna is known for her compassion and her sense of humor.
Amy Hatfield, M.Ed., LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and Louisiana. She is the Lead Therapist for Chrysalis. Amy received her M.Ed. from the University of North Texas and trained to treat eating disorders with Dr. Ramsay. Her bachelor’s degree is from the University of Texas. Amy has specialized in treating individuals with eating disorders since 2007. She is also trained to work with children, having previously worked with at-risk youth. Amy’s gentle compassion and calmness allows her to treat the whole person.
Stacy Hammer, MS, RD, LD has enjoyed being a Registered and Licensed Dietitian since 2004. She loves seeing clients gain a more positive relationship with food through science and experience. Clients with active lifestyles benefit from Stacy’s background in Sports Nutrition. Stacy’s practical personality helps clients make changes that fit the way they live, rather than living a life that is not authentic.
Lisa Elders, MS, RD, LD is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian in Texas who has worked with Chrysalis since 2009. Lisa’s MS in Exercise and Sports Nutrition from Texas Woman’s University supports her interests in eating disorders, cancer, and heart disease. Her experience for over 15 years as an exercise physiologist in healthcare contributes to innovative approaches to developing healthy relationships with food and exercise. She is passionate about helping others live the best life possible.
